I worked with Andy & Kris at Windy City Painters to repair some water damage to my plaster ceilings (caused by leaks from the radiators in the unit above) and highly recommend their services. Andy's responses were prompt, thorough and thoughtful and I had a detailed treatment plan and estimate provided within about a day of submitting my inquiry (by contrast, some other highly recommended painters that I contacted for bids still have not responded, even weeks later!). Pricing was very reasonable and in line with quotes that I eventually received from other providers (especially considering the level of service provided). Even better - Andy was able to squeeze me onto the schedule during a brief window where my new condo would be unoccupied - saving me the headache of having to rearrange furniture for this work to be completed. The day of our appointment, Kris was prompt, came prepared with all of the right equipment, was able to complete the job a few hours ahead of schedule, and left my condo completely spotless. My new ceilings look fantastic - there is zero sign of the previous water damage and they look clean & fresh with 2 new coats of paint. Will definitely be hiring these guys again!

Andy and his crew did a wonderful job repairing a wall and part of the ceiling that was damaged by a leak in the units above us. I was really worried about the ceiling matching up and looking good. Can't say enough about the work and service provided by Andy and Kamil. Andy came out quick and gave me a fair quote and explanation of the what they would need to do, and he was more than accommodating when we had to reschedule the work after I contracted Covid. Kamil was super friendly and did a great job putting up drywall in an old condo with plaster walls and a bunch of weird work that had been done in the past. Would highly recommend.

My upstairs neighbor had a leak which caused a stain and wrinkled dry wall on my ceiling. I had such a great experience with Windy City Painters in repairing and painting my kitchen ceiling after water damage. I had reached out to several companies and never got responses. Andy immediately reached out to me to work to get a quote. Kris did a wonderful job fixed the ceiling (including removal of drywall and painting)! He was also very polite and courteous in using drop cloths and plastic to cover the floors, counters, etc.

I’ve painted many apartment walls in my life but when we bought a house we decided to hire painters for the first time. I’m just blown away, I could never have done such an amazing job. Some of the rooms in our home looked dated and we can’t afford big renovations, but a new coat of paint makes them look so fresh and clean. Camilo was very nice to work with, he was very thorough with asking what we wanted done with nail holes and making sure that everything was left where he found it. And SO FAST. He did a whole basement and living room/hall in a day and a half. This was a very worthwhile investment, thank you.

Highly recommend this company! They were super prompt and responsive and very professional. They even took their shoes off before coming in and were very careful of pets which was appreciated. Kris did drywall repair and painting after our ceiling had water damage and you wouldn't be able to tell anything had ever happened! Will be using this company again should the need call for it.

My kitchen ceiling was really messed up by a crazy electrician who cut some holes to wire a light. Camilo came to patch up the holes. He did an amazing job! You can't even tell what a nightmare the ceiling was. And he was nice enough to reinstall the light fixture that the electrician installed wrong. I have had a few people out to repair various drywall things over the years and none have been anywhere close to the level of service I got from Windy City Painters. Most of the other services I've gotten have been terrible from rude employees to the drywall not even remotely matching the area around it. I called them out to repair my kitchen ceiling as there was a leak from a skylight. Andy asked for some photos and gave me a quote via email. The quote was very accurate; within $15 of the final price. Kris arrived on time and was very professional. He tarped the area so drywall dust wouldn't go all over my home, repaired the drywall/insulation, mudded, and painted the entire ceiling so the color would match all in one day. It looks like there was never any damage at all. I'll be using Windy City Painters for all my drywall needs from here on out.

Andy and Kris from Windy City Painters did a wonderful job! Andy came and did the initial quote and had such great, honest advice about the wallpaper I wanted to install. Kris worked out our new condo over the course of two days and put up gorgeous wallpaper (I really am not sure how he did some of the tiny detail work, it is immaculate!), took out an old security system and patched it up so it did not interrupt the pattern, did some painting, and installed a light fixture! He was extremely professional and kind, and just did a fantastic job. Our wallpaper looks amazing, and having one person be able to do all of the other work around the space (lighting, patching, painting) was so nice. Highly recommend!

Camilo, the painter, was super professional, friendly, worked quickly, and paid attention to detail. Within the span of 3 days work he removed wall paper from multiple walls, painted 5 different areas of our condo, and patched/painted a large hole in our living room drywall where we had recently removed our in-wall fireplace. Will absolutely use them for any future needs!!

Camilo just painted my bedroom yesterday and did such a great job! The walls were in rough shape and he took the extra time to sand and properly prep them, which really helped the final look. The paint job itself looks beautiful and expertly done. Camilo put the room back exactly as he found it and even straightened my uneven blinds so it would look nicer, which is a small thing but really says a lot about the care he took. He was friendly and polite and I would absolutely hire him again!

I hired Windy City Painters to refinish and paint our metal back deck and I had a good experience. Our deck had some damage that needed to be addressed, but I was able to work with Andy to get a quote for both the deck refinishing and the metal work, through a contractor he uses. Andy was very thorough and informative when he did the quote and was communicative. For the actual project work, Oskar was incredibly friendly and did a nice job.
