Our wallpaper installation procedure:
Prepare the Wall: The first step is to ensure that the wall is clean and smooth. Remove any old wallpaper or loose paint, and fill in any holes or cracks. The wall should be completely dry before beginning.
Measure and Cut the Wallpaper: Measure the height and width of the wall and cut the wallpaper to the appropriate size. Be sure to add a few inches to the top and bottom of the wallpaper to allow for trimming.
Apply Wallpaper Adhesive: Apply wallpaper adhesive to the back of the wallpaper using a wallpaper brush or roller. Be sure to apply the adhesive evenly, avoiding any bubbles or wrinkles.
Hang the Wallpaper: Start at one end of the wall and carefully align the wallpaper with the edge. Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles as you go, using a wallpaper smoother or squeegee. Use a sharp knife or scissors to trim any excess wallpaper at the top and bottom.
Repeat for Each Strip: Repeat the process for each strip of wallpaper, making sure to match the pattern as you go.
Clean Up: Once you have hung all of the wallpaper, use a damp sponge or cloth to wipe away any excess adhesive. Allow the wallpaper to dry completely before moving any furniture back into the room.
